في أواخر العقد الخامس وبداية العقد السادس من القرن الماضي أطل وزير العدل برأسه على القضاة، يعطي توجيهات فيما يجب عليهم فعله أو الامتناع عنه، تحت طائلة المسؤولية.
ورأى المؤلف في ذلك تدخلاً من السلطة التنفيذية في عمل السلطة القضائية، وهو أمر غير جائز دستورياً ولا قانونياً.
وصرخ المؤلف بأعلى صوته: "لا، يا وزير العدل". وتوالت الصرخات، وكانت في شكل مقالات، نشرتها الصحف اليومية.
وضاق وزير العدل ذرعاً بالمؤلف ومقالاته، وطلب إلى النيابة العامة ملاحقته جزئياً ثم مسلكياً في دعاوى كانت حديث الناس في ذلك الوقت.
وفي أوائل التسعينات من القرن الماضي عاد وزير العدل سيرة سابقه، فكتب المؤلف دراسة قانونية بعنوان: "دفاع عن سلطة القضاء ومستقبل المحاماة"، كانت موضع اهتمام مسؤولين في القيادة القطرية ورئاسة مجلس الوزراء والمخابرات العامة، وقد تضمنت: أنه لا مستقبل للمحاماة إلا في ظل قضاء نزيه وسليم وعادل. يتضمن هذا الكتاب عرضاً وخلاصة لكل ما سلف ذكره، وتتمة لكتاب صدر للمؤلف أخيراً بعنوان: "دراسات قانونية"، يتضمن الآثار الهامة والخطيرة للقرارات القضائية المتناقضة والباطلة والمعدومة.
كما يتضمن هذا الكتاب نشاطات قانونية تمت خلال النصف الثاني من القرن الماضي، تتضمن دعوة لاحترام القانون وآثار ذلك على مستقبل الوطن وحياة المواطنين.
