وهذا الكتاب الذي بين يديك هو كتاب "الإستذكار"، وقد اقتصر فيه الإمام ابن عبد البر رحمه الله على الحجة والدليل للمسائل ليكون أقرب إلى الحفظ كما قال رحمه الله، ومن أراد البحث والتوسُّع في عرض المسائل ومعرفة أقوال العلماء وأدلتهم فعليه بالرجوع إلى كتاب التمهيد.
