أدركتُ عظمةَ "العَصْرِ" وأنت تٌقسم به... وعَرَفْتُ أنّ الليلَ والنهارَ دَأْباً جَديدان... أقسمتَ بهما، وهما كلُّ الزمان... وعلمتُ أنّ السَّماء والأرض والأفلاك... شكّلوا عنصر المكان، في لا نهائيات الأكوان، وأدركتُ بإلهام أقسامك عظمة الإنسان؛ وقد حَلَفتَ له، وخلقت كل ما خلقت له... وقد أنزلتَ وحيكَ لهدايته... وأقسمتَ له؛ ليأخذ صراطكَ المستقيم، ويعبدَك إلها، لا شريك لك... أنا واحدُ، من عدِّ الرّمال، مما خلقت... فَرِحْتُ لمّا علمتُ انك عنيتني، لمّا أقسمتَ، ولما ناديت ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آَمَنُوا﴾ عنيتني واحداً، من عدِّ الرمال... فلبَّيْتُ لك، وركعت لك، وسجدت لك، عبداً، مطيعاً، عارفاً، عابداً، محباً وطامعاً في غفرانكَ ورضاك…
