ومن هنا حمل كثرة من العناوين الرئيسية والفرعية تزيد القارئ وضوحاً وتحديداً في المعاني والأفكار. انطلق المؤلف لفهم ظاهرة الوحي من حقيقة وجودية ملموسة تقوم على السعي الإنساني، في حركة دائبة، للبحث عن التكامل.. حيث تلتقي غاية الوجود الإنساني هذه بغاية الوحي الكبرى، باعتبار أن غاية الوحي هي غاية الإنسان.
وهذه الحقيقة قد جعلت الكتاب يتسم بالواقعية الصادقة، بعيداً عن التكلف والاقتصار وقد ألقى الكتاب-بأسلوبه السهل القريب-أضواء كاشفة على حقيقة الوحي والنبوة، وخصائص الأنبياء وعصمتهم، فاختتما جولته بالمبدأ القرآني الذي ينص على ضرورة الإيمان بجميع أنبياء الله عليهم السلام، "لا نفرق بين أحد منهم" في النبوة العامة.
