إن اللغة العربية إحدى أهمِّ اللُّغات الحيَّة حتى هذا القرن، فهي سيِّدة اللًّغات وأقواها وأروعها وأجملها، أما ميزتها الفارقة فهي أنها لغة القرآن الكريم، معجزة خاتم الأنبياء والمرسلين محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، كما أنها أم اللغات شعراً ونثراً ونحواً وصرفاً.
وإنطلاقاً من أهمية هذه اللغة على مدى العصور جاء تأليف هذا الكتاب "المساعدة في القواعد والإعراب" تضعه المؤلفة بين أيدي تلاميذ المرحلة الأساسية للتعليم، فحرص أن يكون بسيط العبارة، سهل الفهم، بعيداً عن التعقيد، آخذة بعين الإعتبار إمكانات التلاميذ وقدراتهم، كما حاولت من خلاله إبعاد وهم صعوبة تناول قواعد اللغة العربية، فعملت جاهدة لأن يكون هذا الكتاب مساعداً للكتاب المدرسيّ المقرَّر، أو إعتماده كمرجع مدرسيّ.
لذا اعتمدت نهجاً يسهل تناوله من خلال إيراد قاعدة أساسية حول موضوع الدرس المقصود مع أمثلة مناسبة وتوضيحية، ثم أرفقتها بنماذج إعرابيَّة كتمارين تطبيقية، ثم أتبعتها بعدة تمارين لأفسح المجال للتلاميذ لإختبار قدراتهم ومدى إستيعابهم لما تعلَّموه، أو للإستيضاح عن موقع إعراب كلمة سواء كانت اسماً أو فعلاً، أو حرفاً في جملة لغوية، كما أوردت في القسم الأخير من الكتاب حلولاً لهذه التمارين كي يزيل الإبهام أو الغموض عن سؤال ما.
