أما المقدمة: فقد تحدثت عن أهمية هذه القضية بالنسبة للعقيدة والمنهج الذي اعتزمت السير عليه.
أما التمهيد: فقد تناولت فيه أسماء علم أصول الدين، تعريفه، موضوعه، أهميته، نشأته.
أما الباب الأول: فقد تحدثت فيه عن مسألة العالم بين الحدوث والقدم.
أما الباب الثاني: فقد عقدته للحديث عن قضية الإستدلال على وجود الباري تعالى.
أما الباب الثالث: فقد ضمنته الحديث الصفات الإلهية.
أما الباب الرابع: فقد تحدثت فيه عن رؤية الباري تعالى بين المانعين والمجوزين.
أما الباب الخامس: فقد عقدته للحديث عن مسألة أفعال العباد وصلتها بالقضاء والقدر.
