يغوص هذا البحث في نص الرحلة الأندلسية ليخلص إلى التأكيد على جملة من الخصائص والملامح التي تميزه وتموقعه داخل نص الرحلة المكتوبة بالعربية، منها تعدد المقاصد التي كانت موجهاً جوهرياً للرحلات، وتباين طرق الكتابة بإختلاف شخصيات الرحالة ونوع الرحلة، دون إغفال السياق العام الثقافي والتاريخي والإجتماعي والسياسي الذي طبعها بسمات مشتركة تؤشر على الخصوصية الأندلسية.
وقد قسم الباحث إستنتاجات بحثه إلى مستويين: مستوى التميز والإختلاف، ومستوى التشابه.
الآفاق التي يرنو إليها هذا البحث تتصل بإمكانية تطبيق التقسيم، الذي اتبعه الباحث بخصوص أنواع الرحلة الأندلسية، على نص الرحلة العربية، بصفة عامة، مع توسيق وتدقيق في المنطلقات.
وأيضاً، إمكانية قراءة النص الرحلي إنطلاقاً من تفاعله مع النسق الفكري الأندلسي العام، وربط النوع بالأسلوب، عبر فتح أفق لمقاربات أسلوبية للنص الرحلي، من شأنها أن تمكن من تعميق التفكير في خصائص كل نوع، والوقوف على أوجه العلاقات التي تربط أسلوب الرحلة بالرؤية، رؤية المشاهد التي يستدعيها الرحالة، والتي تصوغ تصوراته عن المحيط، وعلاقة الكتابة بالإنطباع وهو ما يجلي بقدر كبير هوية المداد وثقل اللحظة والإحساس عند التدوين، وعلاقة الأدب بالحياة التي تفسر الكثير من الحقائق الكونية والوجدانية.
وقد استحق هذا البحث الكاشف عن جدارة جائزة ابن بطوطة للدراسات في أدب الرحلة. - ارتياد الآفاق
