القرآن الكريم هو ذلك الكتاب الذي لا ريب فيه حيث لا يأتيه الباطل من بين يديه ولا من خلفه... أنزله الله عز وجل شفاء ورحمة للمؤمنين، وموعظة وشفاء لما في الصدور. وهو كما وصفه أمير المؤمنين الإمام علي بن أبي طالب بقوله: "إ، فيه شفاء من أكبر الداء، وهو الكفر والنفاق والغي والضلال".
ولتلاوة القرآ، وتدبر آياته موقعية وميزة خاصة في الشريعة الإسلامية، وبهذا الاعتبار فإن من الواجبات المهمة التي ينبغي أن تلتفت إليها أمة النبي الأعظم صلى الله عليه وسلم. أن لا تهجر القرآ، حتى لا تشملها الشكوى التي يبثها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم القيامة، والتي يخاصم بها الناس جميعأً على رؤوس الأشهاد، حيث تكون الأفواه مطبقة (اليوم نختم على أفواههم) والأصوات خاشعة، وألأبصار شاخصة، ففي تلك اللحظات الرهيبة التي ينتظر فيها كل فرد حسابه، وصحيفة عمله، ينطلق رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ليشكو إلى الله تعالى هجران الناس لكتابه العزيز. كما ورد في القرآن الكريم.
