هذه موسوعة مختصة بالحريق وفيها شرح لآلية حدوث الحريق ونواتجه وأنواع وأشكال عملية الاحتراق وطرق إخماد الحريق حسب نوعه، كما وتحتوي الموسوعة على شرح مفصل عن مخاطر اشتعال المواد بأنواعها، وإرشادات عن كيفية التعامل معها، كما ولم يغب عن موضوع الموسوعة كيفية تخطيط وتصميم المنشآت للوقاية من الحريق، وطرق وقاية المباني ثم اختبارات الحريق. وورد في الموسوعة بالتفصيل، أنواع التحسس والإنذار من الحريق ثم أنظمة الإخماد ثم عن البخابخات ودارتها وأجهزة الإطفاء المحمولة. هذا ولم تتجاهل الموسوعة المواصفات والشروط العالمية للوقاية من الحريق.
كما ورد فيها شرحاً عن الأنابيب وطرق توصيل شبكات الإطفاء وحسابات دارة البخاخات وتنظيم المخططات والنتائج الحسابية، وكذا المراوح على أنواعها. وفي القسم الأخير من الموسوعة تضمن شرحاً عن أنواع الصواعق والبرق والحراق والانفجارات الناجمة عنها وكيفية مكافحة هذا النوع من الحرائق، وعن ضرورة تأريض المنشآت. أما الجانب البشري والتنظيمي فقد أخذ حيزاً لا بأس به من الموسوعة بالأخص ما يتعلق بتنظيم أقسام المطافئ ومهام الأقسام وتشكيل الوحدات وتنظيمها لإخماد الحرائق.
