"في موت لا يؤلم" يجتهد "راضي العلجاني" في صوغ معادلة دقيقة بين الحياة في امتداداتها الكونية، غير المرئية، من جهة، وبين الواقع الحقيقي للأشياء من جهة أخرى، فأفلح في مدّ جسر بين المخيلة والواقع يستبطن المرموزات وتحيلها إلى قراءة شعرية ذات رؤية خاصة.
في قصيدة بعنوان ]الموت بطفو على السطح[ يقول:
يدفع بالأسماك النافقة / مع الهواء إلى أعلى / ويتخلص من جثث البشر / بالطريقة البطيئة نفسها / حتى ترى الموت يطفو على السطح كسفينةٍ / عملاقة أو طوقِ نجاة / البحر يا صديقي / رغم قدرته الكبيرة على ابتلاع / كل شيء / فشل طويلاً في إغراقِ السمك / وعجز عن هضم جثةٍ دون تدخلِ القرش / فهل ما زلتَ تخافه؟ " .
يضم الديوان ما يقارب الخمسين قصيدة ونص شعري تتراوح بين الطول والقصر نذكر من عناوينها: "دون أدنى خيبة" ، "نيران صديقة!" ، "نص كارتوني" ، "حياء" ، "براءة" ، "فكرة شاردة" ، " صداع واسع" ، "فوبيا" ، "أحلام سعيدة" ، "ضربة قاضية" ، "أبراج" ، "نحول" ... الخ.
