وُلِدَت هذه القصّة في ظُروف مُميّزة، فبعد أن رسم الفنانان حسن إدلبي ووفاء شرف أربعين لوحة فنيّة تناولت الثُّنائي التَّاريخي عنترة بن شداد وعبلة، وعرضاها ضِمن فعاليّات مُلتقى الشَّارقة الدّولي للراوي من تنظيم معهد الشّارقة للتراث تحت شِعار" السِيَر والملاحم الشعبيّة"، شاهدت الكاتبة اللوحات وتمّ النقاش بين الثلاثة حول تكملة النَّص البصري الذي خطّه الفنّانان في قصة تكتبها. قامتْ الكاتبة باختيار سبع عشرة لوحة وضعتْ فيها رؤيتها لمسار الرّحلة الاستكشافية للثُنائي عنترة وعبلة.
