(الله يتجلى في عصر العلم) كتاب يؤكد على وجود الله بالعلم ألفَه نخبة من العلماء الأمريكيَين بمناسبة السنة الدولية لطبيعَيات الأرض، وفيه أجابوا عن سؤال وجهه إليهم "جون كلوفرمونسيما" محرر هذا الكتاب والسؤال هو: "هل تعتقد في وجود الله؟ وكيف دلَتك دراستك وبحوثك عليه؟". وجهَه إلى طائفة من العلماء المتخصصين في سائر فروع العلوم من الكيمياء إلى الفيزياء إلى الأحيار إلى الفلك إلى الرياضيات إلى الطب إلى غير ذلك...
وفي الكتاب سيجد القارئ كيف بيَن أولئك العلماء أن قوانين الديناميكية الحرارية، تؤكد على أنه لا بد أن يكون لهذا الكون من بداية، فإذا كان للكون بداية فلا بد له من مبدئ من صفاته العقل والإرادة واللانهاية. وفي هذا السياق أيضاً، يرد العلماء على أولئك الذين يدَعون أن الكون نشأ هكذا عن طريق المصادفة فيشرحون لنا معنى المصادفة ويشيرون إلى استخدام الرياضيات وقوانين المصادفة لمعرفة مدى احتمال حدوث ظاهرة من الظواهر... ويبين الكتاب فوق ذلك مزايا الإيمان بالله والإطمئنان إليه والإلتجاء إلى رحابة في الصحة والمرض. وكيف لمس الكثيرون حلاوة الإيمان في أنفسهم، بل ولزومه لهم ولغيرهم فتشبَثوا به وحرصوا عليه حتى ذهب بعض العلماء إلى أن بالإنسان حاجة بيولوجية تدفعه إلى الإيمان بالله: "فطرت الله التي فطر الناس عليها" [الرم:30] ليس ذلك فحسب، بل أن الكتاب يذهب ليبيَن كيف أن الإيمان بالله هو أصل الفضائل الإجتماعية والأخلاقية جميعاً، بما يتضمنه من مبادئ وقيم تحث الإنسان نحو فعل الخير.
