تتسلط بنية الغياب على المشهد الشعري للشاعر أكرم قطريب في كل إضمامة صورة في مجموعته الموسومة بـ (بلاد سرية) نكتشف شعريتها من خلال عناصر المفارقة والدهشة وانوجاد الآخر في بؤرة النص. "آسير يا هيّا نهربُ خلسةً ولو في قارب صيدٍ / أعيدك إلى شواطىء صور لفترةٍ وجيزة. / أراك بأم عيني تقدمين لي لحم كتفك أمام البحرْ / كنتُ جائعاً لرؤية وجهك فقط / وأنا أغسل قدميك وقلبكِ من الخوفِ / على درجات منصةِ الإعدام ...". من هنا تتوضح غاية الشاعر في خلق المغايرة لدى ذائقة القارىء، ليحفر عميقاً داخل النص ويفكك رموزه وإشاراته، وحرث المتخيل الشعري في الانوجاد المختلف للمشهد الموصوف، وتأسيس الحلم في علاقة أيقونة تقوم بين شطري الحضور والغياب.
يقسم الشاعر مجموعته إلى محاور رئيسة تحمل عناوين دالة في موجهاتها النصية جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: 1- طفلك الذي سرق عند منبع النهر، 2- عشرة آلاف عام وأنت تفقد طيورك، 3- قمر مبلل على سطوح المنازل، 4- قصائد آرامية، 5- بلدك يبدو آخر مكان على وجه الأرض، 6- بيت صغير لمنذر مصري، 7- كتاب نيو جرسي، 8- تروبادور، 9- بلاد سرّية.
