يندرج هذا الكتاب ضمن علوم اللغة وتطبيقاتها في النقد والأدب، لذا تتلخص إشكالية البحث الأساسية في محاولة الإجابة عن تساؤل منهجي يطرحه المؤلف على النحو التالي:
ما هي الأوجه التداولية والتواصلية للخطاب الأدبي عموماً في ظل تخصص تحليل الخطاب؟ وكيف يظهر لدينا الخطاب السردي من وجهة النظر التداولية الحديثة؟
من هنا، تمثل محاولة مقاربة مجموعة من النصوص السردية في كتاب "وحي القلم" للأديب المصري مصطفى صادق الرافعي أهم غايات هذا البحث، وهو يسعى إلى وضع هذه النصوص في سياقها الخطابي الذي أنتجت فيه، إنطلاقاً من مسلّمة جديدة تطرحها المقاربة الفرنسية في تحليل الخطاب ومفادها: إعتبار المقام التواصلي مكوناً من مكونات إنسجام الخطابات وعليه يتم تجاوز الخلفيات البنيوية التي ألفت التأثيرات السياقية في صياغة الخطابات.
وبناءً على ما تقدم يضع البحث في أولويته الأبعاد العامة للخطاب ومقاصده وكيفية تجليها في النصوص السردية عبر دراسة جوانب مهمة كالمقام التلفظي، وأنماط التلفظ الفرعية، والتحاورات، وغيرها. وبهذا يكون الكتاب قد قدم أهم الإستراتيجيات التي يستعملها الرافعي لصياغة التحاورات السردية وهي الإستراتيجية التوضيحية، والإستراتيجية التلميحية، والإستراتيجية التوجيهية، والإستراتيجية الحجاجية، وكل ما يتصل بتداولية الخطاب السردي ...
