إذا كان المسلمون يتطلعون دائماً - وعلى مرِّ العصور - إلى القيادة التي تخافُ الله تعالى وترفضُ الطاغوت، إلى القيادة التي تتلقى الأوامر من السماء، وتبغي نشْرَ المساواةِ والعدلِ في الأرض، فمنْ لهذه المهام غير الإمام المعصوم، أو نائبه الفقيه فهو قائدهم ومالك أمرهم ومدبّر شؤونهم، لأنه يمثل القيادة الحقَّة، والتي لا يمكنُ للأمور أن تسير سيراً طبيعياً بدونه.
وإذ نؤكد أن الفقيه هو القائد الفعلي للمسلمين في غيبة الإمام المعصوم فإن لصلاة الجمعة دوراً فاعلاً في حياة الأمة وفي صنع قرارها، وهي كفيلة أن تفعل فعلها في المجتمع الإسلامي وقادرةً على تغيير وجه التاريخ لهذه الأمة.
