هذا الكتاب مخصص للحديث عن سيرة النبي صلى الله عليه وآله من خلال الروايات التي وردت عن أهل بيت عليهم السلام ، والتي هي مبثوثة في ثنايا كتب الشيعة والسنة ، وأراد المؤلف أن يذكر هذه الروايات مع شرح ما يحتاج إلى الشرح ومناقشة ما يحتاج إلى النقاش السندي والدلالي . وطبعاً هذا الموضوع مهم جداً ، و ذلك لتعريف ألمسلمين بسيرة النبي صلى الله عليه و آله ، و إزالة اللبس عن فكرهم تجاه النبي صلى الله عليه و آله في حياته و سيرته ، إذ كثيراً ما شوّهت الأقلام الحاقدة نصاعة سيرته الخالدة ، فصوّرت هذه الأقلام أن الرسول صلى الله عليه وآله ما هو إلا شخصية عادية ، يغضب في غير موضع الغضب و يرضى في غير موضع الرضا ، وأنه يلعن و يسب ثم يعتذر و يدعو الله تعالى أن يجعل ذلك السب و اللعن زكاة للمسبوب والملعون ، وأنه يُستشار في بعض الأمور الزراعية فتفسد الزراعة عندما عمل المستشير بالاستشارة ، وأنه يتصرف كطفل ، وأنه رجل متناقض ، وأنه يحتاج إلى من يعلمه و يدير أموره ، و يشرف على شؤونه ، و يحل له مشاكله ، وأنه انسان ظالم قاسي ، وأنه وأنه .... وغير ذلك مما حملته تلك الروايات المزيفة ، والتي يُراد لها أن تُسوّق لطمس معالم النبوة ، مقدمة لهدم الاسلام من الأساس ، وهذه الخطة لم تكن وليدة اليوم ، وإنما من يوم بدأت الحرب على الاسلام وعلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم.
