لقد تظافرت الروايات الشريفة في الدعوة لحضور مجالس العلماء للإستفادة من علومهم والإسترشاد بتعاليمهم الروحية والفكرية والخُلُقية؛ فعن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله أنّه قال: "مجالسة العلماء عبادة"، كما حثّت الروايات على تدوين العلم وتقييده بالكتابة، مثل قول النبي صلى الله عليه وآله: "قيّدوا العلم" قيل: وما تقييده؟ قال: "كتابته".
ومن بين تلك المجالس المليئة بالمعارف والعبر، مجالس الذي أتحف مستمعيه بالنكات الخفية والمعارف الدقيقة الكامنة في طيّ كلمات أهل بيت سلام الله عليهم وسيرتهم؛ فمن منطلق العمل بالأحاديث الشريفة الداعية إلى الإستفادة من مجالس العلماء ونشرها باشر قسم الترجمة والتحقيق في مؤسسة الرسول الأكرم صلى الله عليه وآله بتدوينها وتتبع مداليلها الروائية والتاريخية عبر مظانّها.
فكان هذا الكتاب الذي يضمّ بين دفّتيه هذه المحاضرات التي يعود زمن إلقائها لفترات مختلفة تمتدّ من عام 1396 إلى عام 1420هـ، وفصلاً ثانياً اشتمل على كلمات ووصايا قيّمة للمؤلف خلال لقائه بوفود من أهل العلم من أساتذة وطلاّب الحوزات والمعاهد والجامعات وأئمّة الجمعة والجماعة والمبلّغين من إيران والعراق وأقطار أخرى.
