يقول الله تعالى في كتابه العزيز "وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعاني فليستجيبوا لي وليؤمنوا لعلهم يرشدون" وعن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم "افزعوا إلى الله في ملماتكم وتضرعوا إليه وادعوه فإن الدعا مخ العبادة".

من هنا تأتي أهمية هذا الكتاب الذي يضم بين دفتيه المأثور من الأدعية والأعمال والصلوات والزيارات التي يحتاجها كل مسلم عند توجهه إلى ربه جلّ وعلى في كل الأحوال ليكون قريباً منه بعد أن تعرّف ومن خلال ما ورد في هذا الكتاب ما يجب عليه أداءه من أعمال وصلوات وما يجب عليه من تلاوات وما شاء له أن يرفع من أدعية إلى خالقه الذي لا يرد سائليه المتجهين إليه بقلوب وجلة ونفوس مشفقة وبتسليم متناهٍ.
