في هذه القصّة، ستتفاجأ بأنّ الأشياء حولك قد يصيبها الحزن وقد تمرض جراء ذلك مرضا شديدًا... ففي تلك المدينة كان الحزن قد تسرب من قلب حاكم محبوب إلى كلّ شيء في المدينة... فأصيبت المدينة بالصّمت وهجمت عليها ألوان رماديّة.
وكان هنالك فتى يعيش خارج المدينة، علمته الأحلام أن ادخال الفرح إلى النّاس يحتاج إلى قلب حالم لا يستسلم. وكان خياطًا كذلك. وفي يوم من الأيّام حمل إلى النّاس، مفاجأة! إنّها أثواب مطرّزة بالموسيقى، خاطها الفتى بكلّ حبّ وفرح، ولكنّ جنود الحاكم ظنّوا أنّه مشعوذ يريد الأذى للمدينة وأهلها، وعندما اقتادوه للحاكم، قدّم له الخياط ثوبًا مميّزًا جدًّا، لبسه وأحسّ بالفرق، وشيئًا فشيئًا بدأت الموسيقى تنسيه حزنه. لكن يومًا ما توقف الثّـوب عن إصدار الموسيقى! وبعد استدعاء الخياط، كان لدى الخياط حكمة بالغة للحاكم.
