الكتابة تحتاج إلى دافع، وأيّ دافع وباعثٍ أفضل وأعلى من طاعة أمر سماحة القائد، حيث قال: "لديّ قناعة راسخة وهي أنّ إحياء ذكرى الشهداء من الضروريات الأساسية في البلاد".
وبنيّة التقرب إلى الله تعالى وبمعونةٍ من الشهداء لا سيما الشهيد محمد حسن، وضعتُ قدمي في هذا الطريق، وكُلّي أمل بالألطاف والهداية التي رافقتني طوال هذه الفترة.
لم تكن قدرتي على الكتابة بالمستوى المطلوب وبقدر العظمة والرحمة التي تتميز بها روح السيد رسول، لذلك طلبتُ منه العون بحجّة الصداقة والرفقة، لأنني أعلم جيداً بأن رسول يُعين من يرافقه حتى آخر نقطة، والحق أقول بأنه قد أتمّ حقّ الصداقة معي، فقد انتهت شهور البحث والتحقيق واللقاءات مع أصدقاء رسول إلى نتيجة واحدة؛ اتفق قول الصغير والكبير، القائد وزميل المدرسة الإبتدائية، الجار ورفيق الجهاد، وحتى من قام بنقش اسم رسول على صخرة القبر، كلّهم اتفقوا على هذه الحقيقة: "رسولٌ كان صديقنا الوحيد".
كم هي جميلة هذه الرفقة، عندما كانوا يتحدثون عن شيمة ومعرفة رسول وعن رحمته وعدم إيذائه للأخرين وعن حرارة قلبه ونفسيّته، في هذه المدينة التي نلاحظ الناس فيها من أقصى منطقة في الشمال حتى أدنى نقطة في الجنوب يبحثون إمّا عن الشهرة والعنوان وإمّا عن المال والسعة.
لقد جمع رسول في ساحة محبّته أصدقا يتحدّثون عن صفائه ويحبّون وضوحه، هناك صديق له من لبنان يناديه؛ (حبيبي) وصديق آخر في مدينة الري يناديه: (مشتي)، أخلاقه الحسنة، وظاهره الأنيق، وعطره الفوّاح، أو بعبارة أخرى، مواكبته للعصر، لم تكن أظهر من حيائه وتقواه وصدقه؛ لم يكن سكوته وصبره ومغفرته وحفظه للأسرار، أقلّ من مهارته وتبحّره في أداء العمل، لذلك كان من الصعب بالنسبة لي درك سعة هذه الروح العظيمة التي عبّر عنها اخوه بهذه الجملة: "كانت روح رسول أعظم من جسمه وكان هذا السبب وراء شهادته".
