الأدب موهبة يختص بها الإنسان، لما يمتلكه من مشاعر وأحاسيس وخيال محلق، يتواشج معها فكر نافذ ورؤية ثاقبة، تنصهر فيها هذه المكونات الخلاقة والعناصر المتأزرة، فتجسد هماً وقلقاً ينبض في شرايين الأديب، ومن ثم فلا محيص له من أن يصوغ هذه النفحات صياغة لغوية تستهوي القلوب وتميل إليها الأنظار.
هذه الخواطر قفزت إلى ذهني وأنا أحاول أن أصف التجربة الفنية التي يعانيها زميلنا الدكتور صدام فهد طاهر الأسدي، هذه التجربة التي تجري في دمه وتحملها شرايين قلبه الكبير، الذي حمله صاحبه ما لا يكاد يحتمله غيره من المكابدة والمعاناة ومعالجة قضايا الحياة بروح مكتنزة بحب الفن وجمال الإبداع.
وقد سطر المبدع الأسدي مشاعره وعواطفه بألوان من البلاغة ورشاقة التعبير وحسن صياغة الأفكار التي استقاها من عوالم الإلهام البعيدة، فنراه يلجأ إلى الشعر ليحمل عنه همومه - وما أكثرها - ويقذف بها إلى إسماع محبي الشعر ومتذوقي الأدب، وقد نشر منه الشيء الكثير في عدة دواوين أسماها (المجموعة الشعرية الكاملة) وها هو الآن يلتفت إلى فن النثر بأنواعه المختلفة فيجمعه في كتاب واحد حفظاً له من التبعثر في زوايا، وحرصاً منه على تقديمه للقارئ في واحد تفوح منه رائحة المسك والعنبر.
