على الرغم من أهمية التعبير فإن تدريسه ما زال يعاني من الضعف فقد أكدت الدراسات والأدبيات هذا الضعف وعدته مشكلة المشكلات وجاءت هذه الدارسة استكمالاً للدراسات السابقة وعرفاناً باللغة العربية متصدية لهذه المشكلة من أجل الوصول إلى حل يسهم في إزالتها أو التقليل منها، إذ استهدفت معرفة اثر تحليل نصوص أدبية مختارة في الأداء التعبيري لدى طلاب الصف الخامس العلمي من خلال اختبار الفرضية الصفرية الآتية : لا يوجد فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين متوسط تحصيل المجموعة التي تدرس التعبير بطريقة تحليل نصوص أدبية ومتوسطة تحصيل المجموعة التي تدرس التعبير بالطريقة التقليدية.
