لقد آمن الإنسان بأن العالم مليء بقوى غير منظورة وأن العقل منفرداً ليس الوسيلة الوحيدة القادرة على إطلاع الإنسان بحقيقة الكون. ولما كان الإنسان بحاجة لكي ينفس عن طاقاته المخبوءة، فإنّ هذا النسيان يجذبه، أو يدفعه، إلى أغوار عميقة. إن معرفة "الغيب" هو الرغبة في الإيمان بالقوى غير المنظورة، وبالمغذى الأكثر اتساعاً، وأن ما يثير الاهتمام هو أن الإنسان طوّر العلم والفلسفة بسبب هذه الرغبة المتلهفة الساعية إلى المغزى الأكثر اتساعاً. وكلما ازداد عمق إحساسه بالدهشة، كلما ازداد اتساع فضوله وتطلعه إلى المعرفة، وما يسمى بالقوى الخفية إنما هو جزء من هذا العالم الكامن الخفي. كذلك قدرات الحاسة السادسة أو البصيرة الثانية، والرؤية المسبقة، والتواصل عن بعد، والتنبؤ، أن أكثر الحيوانات تمتلكها، ولكن معرفة الإنسان بجذوره، أي بعالمه الداخلي "هامة" بالنسبة له بالفعل في هذه النقطة من تطورهن ولا بد له بشكل ما أن يعود إلى معرفة أنه خارق القدرة. إن في أعماق الإنسان طاقة هائلة وقدرة عظيمة باستطاعته تطويعها، إن هو عرف كيف يغوص إلى الأعماق ويحسن التأمل ويفعّل تلك الطاقة، إنها طاقة فعالة وموجودة تصل به إلى الارتقاء الروحي والفكري والشفافية والرضى والأمان. ولكي تتوفر هذه الطاقة لا بد من الالتزام بالقواعد الصحية الضرورية، كذلك كلما كان الفرد معافى استطاع أن يبذل الجهد الذي يلزمه لتفعيل هذه الطاقة.
في هذا الإطار يأتي كتاب "الطاقة الخفية والحاسة السادسة" في الإنسان. سيحاول الباحث في دراسته هذه تبسيط ما تيسر له من اطلاع على تجارب شخصية وغير شخصية وعن نشاطات الباحثين والمهتمين بذلك لإعطاء النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها، لإفادة كل من يهتم ويتوسم المعرفة من هذه الدراسة.
