على قاعدة الإيمان بالله وملائكته ورسله يقدم فضيلة الشيخ عبد الأمير قبلان/ نائب رئيس المجلس الإسلامي الشيعي الأعلى في لبنان كتابه (عقيدة المؤمن، ويتوجه به إلى القارئ المسلم، (هذه عقيدتك بين يديك أقدمها إليك لتكون زائدك إلى الحقائق، وتكون لي ذخراً يوم الفاقة (يوم لا ينفع مال ولا بنون إلا من أتى الله بقلب سليم)".
انطلاقاً من هذه النظرة الإيمانية يبدأ المؤلف كتابه بالإشارة إلى أنه "مع وجود الإنسان وجد الدين" وسيلته في ذلك ما جاء في الكتب الأثرية القديمة وما ورد على لسان الفلاسفة والديانات القديمة انتهاءً برسالة الإسلام. بعد ذلك يستعرض الملف (أصول الإيمان) وهي خمسة 1- التوحيد، 2- العدل، 3- النبوة، 4- الإمامة، 5- المعاد، ويشرح بالتفصيل كل أصل من تلك الأصول وما ييدها في كتاب الله والأحاديث الواردة عن أهل بيت النبوة عليهم السلام، وضمن هذا السياق يأتي المؤلف على سيرة كل واحد من مشاهد الأنبياء والأئمة عليهم السلام، فيذكر آدم، وموسى، وعيسى صلوات الله عليهم أجمعين، وما احتوت عليه رسالة كل واحد منهم، ثم يتطرق إلى موضوع (الإمامة) فيعتبرها (واجبة عقلاً على الله تعالى لأن الإمامة لطف وكل لطف واجب على الله، فالإمامة واجبة على الله تعالى واللطف هو ما يقرب العبد إلى الطاعة ويبعده عن المعصية وهذا المعنى حاصل في الإمامة.
ويختتم الكتاب بمواضيع الثواب والعقاب، والعدل والرحمة، وما ينتظر الناس في الدار الآخرة "إما الجنة أو النار، في عالم يتجلى فيه حساب الله تعالى عند الموازين في بيان نتائج الأعمال، ولا يظلم ربك احداً...".
