صدر عن الشاعر "محمد بدوي" ديوانه الجديد "الشمعة من طرفيها"، بعد ديوانه "تلويحة للنسيان" الصادر عام 1998، وكان مجموعة من القصائد النثرية.
حيث إستطاع ديوان "الشمعة من طرفيها" أن يضم مجموعة صغيرة من القصائد التي كتبت ونشرت بالمجلات والجرائد في فترة العشر سنوات الماضية منتخباً القصائد الموجودة بالديوان لأنها تمثل له قيمة شعرية كبيرة يرى أنها بداية لمرحلة أنضج، لها رؤية مختلفة للعالم وللأشخاص والأشياء.
ويخلو هذا الديوان عن ملامح كانت موجودة بالماضي مثل السخرية في الكتابة والإحتجاج الشعري العنيد، كما أن السرد وتأمل تجربة الحياة وذكريات الطفولة ملامح أساسية في الديوان، بالإضافة لتناول الديوان عنصراً أساسياً في الحياة وهو الموت.
