تنطلق أهمية هذه الدراسة من كونها مقاربة للعلاقة التلازميّة التي تربط الشاعر الأردني عبد الله رضوان بمدينة عمّان، ومحاولة نقديّة لإبراز جماليات مدينة عمّان كما ظهرت في شعره، بوصفها بنية دالة، شكّلت بؤرة مهمة، وظّفها الشاعر في نصوصه الشعريّة.
وهي إستكمالٌ لصورة عمّان التي ظهرت في نتاج معظم الشعراء الأردنيين، وبخاصة الشعراء: عبد المنعم الرفاعي، وحسن بكر العزازي، وحيدر محمود، وحبيب الزيودي، وعبد الرحيم عمر، وغيرهم من الشعراء الأردنيين، لكنها في شعر عبد الله رضوان، أصبحت تتمظهر في نصوص تقترب من شعريّة الجسد، وتتماهى في الأنثى، بوصفها مصدر خصوبة دائم.
وهذا ما جعل من شعره العمّاني أدب رؤية بصريّة، ورؤيا فكريّة، ينبعث من معايشة الشاعر للمكان بكلّ تفصيلاته، مما سمح للرؤيا الشعريّة بالإنبعاث من ثنايا الوجدان منتجة شعراً عذباً، يعكس حالة وجد خاصة، لا تلبث أن تنتقل عدواها إلى المتلقي.
