ولد عام 1957 في الدكوانة - بيروت.
أنهى دروسه الثانوية في معهد الرسل بجونيه, ودروسه الجامعية في جامعة القديس يوسف, وحصل على دورة في جامعة فال دو مارن-باريس-كريتاي 80-1985.
يعمل في الصحافة الثقافية منذ 1979 , ويتابع الحياة الثقافية والأدبية كناقد.

الكتاب هو مجموعة شعرية جديدة للكاتب والشاعر اللبناني عبده وازن، حملت عنوان: "لا وجه في المرآة"، وفيها نقرأ قصائد نثرٍ تنحاز للحظةٍ إنسانية خاصّة، تحتفي بالتفاصيل التي يلتقطها الشاعرُ بحكمةِ متأمِّلٍ، بشغف مغامرٍ، وبخبرة مَن لا ينقصه شيءٌ مِن حروب العالم، وكتبه، وخساراته، وتجاربه المفتوحة على كل احتمالات الحياة والموت والحب.
بين القصيدة الأولى في الديوان: "سرقة"، والتي تشبه نصيحةً شعرية حذقة لكلِّ من يرغبُ في أن ينبت له غصنٌ في شجرة الكتابة، والنص الأخير الطويل "قدَّاس جنائزيّ لأنسي الحاج"، تُطالعنا قصائد لا تكتفي بالتقاط تفاصيل الحياة الهاربة من مكانٍ إلى آخر ومن مقلبِ نهارٍ إلى آخر ووضعها قيد المساءلة؛ إنَّما تذهب عميقاً في تقصِّي أحوال النفس التي يُمسي الهروب منها وإليها مسافة يقطعها الشاعر جيئةً وذهاباً، معترفاً: "لا أهرب إلاَّ من نفسي/ من المجهول الذي يُسوِّرها". ومُصرَّاً على الكتابة واقتراف المزيد من القصائد إلى درجة التلاشي، كأنَّ في لحظةِ الاندثار تلك ولادة جديدة ووجه آخر يتشكَّل في الغياب، دون الحاجة إلى مرآة تفضح ملامحه.
