)كتاب يعنى بدراسة وتحليل القانون التجاري ضمنه المؤلفان "أدوارد كويستيان عيد" في جزئين، تحدثنا في الجزء الأول عن القانون التجاري وهو:
2) القانون التجاري هو فعل من القانون الخاص يشتمل على مجموعة الأحكام القانونية التي تنتظم فئة معينة من الأعمال هي الأعمال التجارية وطائفة معينة من الأشخاص هم التجار سواء في العلاقة المتبادلة فيما بينهم أم في علاقاتهم مع عملائهم.
فينحصر هذا القانون من ثم في نطاق خاص هو نطاق التجارة مع ما يشتمل عليه من أعمال، أو من أشخاص يمارسون هذه الأعمال ويكونون عادة من التجار.
ولكن الرأي قد إختلف في ما يتضمنه هذا النطاق. وقد ظهرت في هذا المجال فكرتان: إحداهما شخصية تأخذ بعين الإعتبار فقط الأشخاص الذين يحترفون التجارة وتريد حصر تطبيق القانون التجاري بهم، والأخرى موضوعية وهي تعتد بالأعمال التجارية بحد ذاتها وتقصر تطبيق القانون التجاري عليها بصرف النظر عن الأشخاص الذين يقومون بها سواء أكانوا من التجار أم من غير التجار.
3) القسم الأول: الأعمال التجارية والتجار والمؤسسة التجارية. القسم الثاني: الشركات التجارية. القسم الثالث: العقود التجارية وعمليات المصارف. القسم الرابع: الأسناد التجارية. القسم الخامس: أحكام الإفلاس وتوقف المصارف عن الدفع.
4) الباب الأول- مبادئ عامة في الشركات. الباب الثاني- شركات الأشخاص. الباب الثالث- شركات الأموال. الباب الرابع- أنواع خاصة من الشركات
