فعلى مر العصور كان للمحامين دور رئيسي وبارز في إقرار الحقوق والحريات العامة للشعوب ونصرة المظلومين والمحرومين وكانت ولا تزال بصماتهم واضحة في إقرار الدساتير الديمقراطية والقوانين العادلة.
