يتضمن هذا الكتاب دراسة في كتاب "التأويل النحوي في منحة الباري بشرح صحيح البخاري" لزكريا الأنصاري (ت 926هـ). أعد الكتاب الدكتور أسامة طه ياسين فحل الهيتي" ووزعها على ثلاثة فصول يسبقها تمهيد وتعقبها خاتمة.
أما التمهيد فكان في اقسام أربعة تطرَق في أولها الدكتور أسامة إلى مؤلف الكتاب الشيخ( زكريا الأنصاري)، عارضاً فيه شيئاً من حياته ونشأته وأخلاقه، وشيوخه وتلامذته، ثم وفاته وفي ثانيها تناول آثاره، مرتباً إياها ترتيباً أبجدياً، ذاكراً تصانيفه في العلوم، وأما ثالثها فخصص للكتاب "منحة الباري" وتناول فيه موضوعه، ومنهج المؤلف فيه، وأهميته، وموارده، وطرائق المؤلف في نقله من تلك الموارد، وشواهد على اختلافها، والرابع كان للتعريف بالتأويل، وبيان أهم أسبابه. أما الفصل الأول، فكان للتأويل بالحذف، وناقش فيه المسائل على الأبواب النحوية، معتمداً على ترتيب ابن مالك (ت 672هـ) في "ألفيته" المشهورة، فصار في ثمانية مباحث تناول فيها: الحذف في باب المبتدأ والخبر ونواسخها، والفاعل، والمنصوبات الإسمية، وباب الإضافة وحروف الجر والتوابع والشرط والفعل المضارع... أما الفصل الثاني، فكان للتأويل بالزيارة وتناول فيه "زيادة الحرف، زيادة الأسماء، وزيادة الأفعال"، وأما الفصل الثالث فكان للتأويل بين التضمين والنيابة. وفي الخاتمة نتائج البحث.
تأتي أهمية هذا الكتاب من كونه يشرح ويفسر ظاهرة التأويل النحوي في تراث النحويين والمفسرين القدامى، الذين استخدموها كوسيلة من وسائل الكشف عن المعنى في كتاب الله تعالى وسنَة رسوله وفي مختلف العلوم الشرعية...
