تحت عنوان "ثورة الشوق" تكتب الشاعرة: "سأشتاقكِ/ قالها ورحل../ ودعته الموانئ/ وتلويحات المسافرين تنوب عني../ وقلبي في محراب الحب/ يرتل الوجع بصمت/ ومنذها والليالي تحمل حنيني إليه/ اشتياقي.. نبض قلبي../ يسألونني عنه../ آه يالشوقي كيف يقتص الهوى/ من نسمات فجري/ من قسمات الطفولة العذبة/ ومع وشوشات العصافير لضوء الفجر/ أحترق ألف مرة لرؤيته/ وأناتي تحملها حبات المطر/ على نافذتي حين شوق...". هكذا، تنصهر كل عواطف الشاعرة، وأفكارها، وتتفجر في صور القصيد التي تعبّر في صدقٍ نادر عن الاشتياق ومتعلقاته.
يضم الكتاب نصوص نثرية متعددة الثيمات والأغراض الشعرية نذكر من عناوينها: "الريح وأنا!"، "السفر إلى عينيك انتحار"، "الغيمات لم تعد تبكي"، "انهمار روح ذات ليلة ممطرة"، "لوقع خطاه"، "هل تقول وداعاً؟"، (...) وعناوين أخرى.
