على المرء أن يدرك بأن البعد متلفُ للرَوح، قاتلَ للجسد معذبه، مُضْنٍ حدَّ الألم الذي يغوص في جوفِ الضلوع تماماً كما تفعل الشمس بعرض البحر.
يغوصُ ويغوص حتى النخاع، حتى أنّه يتعشّش في خلايا الجسدِ، خليّة خليّة.
فإياك والجحود، إيّاك والبعد، لا تَبع روحضك رخيصة رهينة دُنيا في زوال.
تقرُب واستهدهِ واسترشدْهُ واطلب عفوه وتذلل له، إنه من أبدعَ خَلقَك، حبيبك وطبيبك، مداويك من الأسقامِ إياك أن تبتعد، إياك والجحود.
تقرّب واطلب منه العفو سبحانه، خيرُ مولي وخيرُ معبود.
