إلى جانب هذا أورد المصنف نماذج من رسائله وأجوبته العلمية في الفقه والحديث وغير ذلك وذكر بعض ما كتبه في مؤلفاته من كلام هام، كما افتتح الكتاب بمبحثين الأول في مدح الإنسان نفسه أو غيره والثاني كلمة عن التاريخ وفوائده.
