""في باب وفي خلفو طريق وفي حلم وناطرك لتفيق"" إن المشي بين قصائد هذا الديوان يشبه تماماً المشي في أزقة دمشق العتيقة، وسماع صوت نوافيرها في البيوت وعصافيرها في الطرقات. أنا ممتن حقاً لهذه البساطة العبقرية، ولهذا الشعر الهادئ رغم صخبه والبارز دون رفع لافتات.
