"فضائل بيت المقدس" هو الجزء الثاني من كتاب فضائل الشام للحافظ ضياء الدين "محمد بن عبد الواحد بن أحمد المقدسي الحنبلي" وفيه جمع المصنف فضائل هذه المدينة المقدسة وما ورد فيها من الآيات الكريمة، والأحاديث الشريفة، والأخبار المروية بأسانيد متصلة، تبين بمجموعها المكانة العظيمة والشريفة التي خص الله بها هذه المدينة فمنها توفي الملائكة لها، وفضل الصلاة فيها، وفضل زيارتها، وفضل صخرتها، وأن الدجال لا يدخلها، وإسراء النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) إليها، وفضل الإحرام للحج أو العمرة منها، وذكر من سكنها من الصحابة، وفضل مؤذنيها. وغير ذلك ولأهمية هذا الكتاب اعتنى "محمد مطيع الحافظ" بتحقيق مادته تحقيقاً يوضح ما غمض من عباراته وما أشكل.
