وهذا الكتاب يأتي بعنوان "بسمات ودموع" بعد أن أصدر الشاعر مجموعته الأولى تحت عنوان "تراث الزجل" وهو يشدو لنا أجمل الألحان وأقر بها إلى النفس والروح معاً؛ يتنوع هذا الفن الأصيل ما بين أشعار كتبت في مناسبات دينية، وأخرى إجتماعية، وثالثة وطنية من دون أن ينسى شاعرنا الغزل.
ومن رياحين هذه الشعرية الرائعة قصيدة بعنوان [يا ماشي عالدرب مشيك غندرا]... "يا ماشي على الدرب مشيك غندرا... أما عتاوت نفسي أما عنترا... لا تغتري عالناس بفنون الغرام... ما نهش قدس ناس بكتابو قرا... كنا وكانوكتار من عالم كرام... عشاق بحبوب الغرام مبخرا... وكل عاشق إلوعنا إحترام... وكم جوهرا حلت بمطرح جوهرا...".
