هذا الكتاب الموسوم بـ"منار الهدى في إثبات النص على الأئمة الإثني عشر النجبا" منارة راسية في مجال الأبحاث الكلامية والعقائدية والتاريخية بالإسم والمحتوى. ومثال في تلاحم الفكرة والتعبير فضلا عن جودة النظم والتأليف.
وأول ما يطالعك فيه قوة الحجة ونصاعة البراهين التي حشدها المؤلف في خدمة موضوعه في الإمامة وإثباتها بقوة الأدلة النقلية والعقلية، كما عالج الموضوع من الناحية التاريخية والكلامية.
وقد إستحضر في ذلك إمكانات عالية تمتع بها من الإحاطة في فنون الكلام، وذخيرة علمية رصينة.
ولأهمية هذا الكتاب، اعتنى بتحقيقه عبد الحليم الحلبي معتمدا على نسختين: النسخة الأولى: هي النسخة المطبوعة على الحجر. والنسخة الثانية: هي النسخة المطبوعة والمنقحة من قبل السيد عبد الزهراء الخطيب.
أما مراحل عمله في هذا الكتاب.
أولا: تقطيع فقرات الكتاب وتزيينه بالفوارز وإضافة العناوين الداخلية.
ثانيا: تخريج الآيات والروايات والأقوال، وكان سعيه في تثبيت المصادر التي اعتمد عليها المصنف الأقدم فالأقدم.
ثالثا: مقابلة النسخة الحجرية مع المطبوعة ومع المصادر التي اعتمد عليها المصنف مع تثبيت الإختلافات المهمة.
رابعا: ذكره في آخر الكتاب ترجمة مختصرة للأعلام الوارد ذكرهم في الكتاب.
خامسا: بعد صف حروف الكتاب ومقابلته مع النسخة الحجرية وتثبيت الإختلافات أعيد النظر فيه لتجاوز الخلل والزلل الواقع في المراحل السابقة.
