لعل من الأهمية بمكان بدايةً ونحن نحاول طرح ومعالجة مشكلات وقضايا الأقليات في الوطن العربي أن نعمل على بيان وتوضيح مسألةٍ هامة تعْتبر مقدمة المقدمات في الفكر الإنساني قاطبةً، ألا وهي شرح وبيان الفرق الكبير بين ما هو حقيقي من الأفكار والنظريات السياسية والذي يمكن أن يقوم بذاتهِ ويمتلك الحياة، وبين ما هو مفتعل لا يقوى على القيام؛ فهو يحتاج دائما ـ حتى يقوم ـ إلى المقومات.
والأمور بكليتها في الوطن العربي، في هذه الآونة، تتجه إلى تكثير الأقليات وتقليل الأكثريّة؛ هذه السياسات المتّبعة تحاول أن توفِّق أو أن تقابِل عادةً بين الحق والباطل وبين الصح والخطأ وبين الخير والشر وبين النور والظلام وبين العلم والجهل وبين المستقيم والمعوج وبين العروبة والعجْمة، وكلها تؤكد بما لا يدع مجالأ
للشك بأن العربي الإنسان والعربي الوطن إنما هو ـ في هذا العصر مبْتلى ومجْتبى، فالعروبة في جميع أنحاء العالم تنتصر وحدها الآن بينما الأعراب منهزمون.
وإلا فماذا يعني أن تجد كل هذا العداء المستحكم منذ فترة من قِبلِ تلك الشعوبيات العرقية والطائفيّة ومن كل هؤلاء الدول والملل والنحل والجماعات والأشخاص على اختلاف مشاربهم ومواقعهم واختلاف معاناتهم ومشكلاتهم للعروبة وللعرب
