سيرة ذاتية مُميِّزة، يروي الدكتور "حازم نسيبة" فيها بأسلوبٍ مشوقٍ أخّاذ، سيرة حياته في مسقط رأسه مدينة القدس الكبرى، حين كانت إبان الإنتداب البريطاني، حاضرة فلسطين الجغرافية المزدهرة، ومقرِّ فعالياتها السياسية والإقتصادية والثقافية والإجتماعية والرياضية، ومقر الحكومة المركزية التي كان شعب فلسطين يشكل غالبية أطقم دوائرها ومرافقها إلى أن حلت نكبة فلسطين بكل كوارثها وشهدائها وتداعياتها وشتاتها التي لا يزال الشعب الفلسطيني يكابدها على إمتداد ستين عاماً ونيّف، وقد تفاقمت بالكارثة الثانية في إحتلال القدس وسائر الضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة عام 1967، والتي أوجدت معاناة مريرة جديدة.
كرَّس المؤلف حياته المديدة كسياسي ودبلوماسي عريق مدافعاً عن قضيته المقدَّسة في مختلف المحافل العالمية، وهو يروي في سيرته الذاتية الكثير من أحداث ووقائع وأسرار السياسات العربية والدولية البارزة، في محادثاته مع قادة العالم وبالأخص في الأمم المتحدة ومجلس الأمن الذي مَثَّل فيه الأردن والمجموعة العربية والآسيوية.
كتاب مرجع بجميع المقاييس، كما أنه يؤرخ لمراحل مهمة من تطور وبناء الأردن دولة عصرية راسخة الأركان تتمتع بإحترام دول العالم كافة.
