هو الشيخ محمد حسن بن الشيخ محمد رضا بن الشيخ عبد الحسين بن الشيخ باقر بن الشيخ محمد حسن آل ياسين الخزرجي الكاظمي.
ولادته ونشأته
ولد في مدينة النجف الاشرف عام 1931، وكان والده آية الله الشيخ محمد رضا آل ياسين المتوفى سنة 1370هـ -1951م، أكبر مرجع في زمانه ترجع إليه الشيعة الإمامية في مختلف البلاد الإسلامية.

في كتابه "في رحاب الرسول (صلى الله عليه وسلم) يؤرخ الشيخ محمد حسن آل ياسين لأهم مراحل حياة الرسول الكريم (صلى الله عليه وسلم). يتحدث خلالها في تاريخ السيرة، لكل أبعادها الواسعة، ومجالاتها الحاشدة... بدءاً بالمولد الكريم والنشأة المباركة، ثم البعثة الشريفة وما تلاها من شؤون وشجون، ومروراً بما شهده العهدان الحافلان في مكة والمدينة، حتى آخر يوم من ايام الإشراق المحمدي.
يبدأ الكتاب بتمهيد يطلَ خلاله الشيخ على أهم من الف في السيرة النبوية المباركة مثل: عروة بن الزبير، أبان بن عثمان، وهب بن منبه وآخرون، مما ثبت منه بالشياع أو التواتر أو السند الصحيح. بعد ذلك يقسم الكتاب إلى عناوين رئيسية تتناول السيرة النبوية وهي: "الولادة والنشأة، الزواج والأزواج، الأنباء والبنات، البعثة، الإعجاز والمعجزات، العصمة، الكتابة والقراءة، الهجرة وبناء الدولة، خاجعة المرض والوفاة، المعارك الكبرى في العهد النبوي بدءاً من معركة بدر الكبرى وإنتهاء بمعركة حنين...
يبفى أن نشير أن كتاب "في رحاب الرسول (صلى الله عليه وسلم)، هو المجلد الثاني من موسوعة الشيخ آل ياسين البالغة سبعة عشر مجلداً تشكل مجموع أعمال المؤلف.
