أقدم هذا الكتاب ليتعرف القارئ على فلسطين وتاريخها القديم والمعاصر من خلال هذا الكتاب، فمنهج الكتاب عبارة عن سؤال وجواب على طريقة لعبة الحروف، فعندما يسأل المتسابق عن اسم مدينة أو قرية أو شخصية أو كتاب أو مؤسسة وغير ذلك يكون قد أعطي الحرف الذي تبدأ به الإجابة مسبقا وقد يسهل ذلك الإجابة، فمن خلال هذه اللعبة يتنافس أبناؤنا في الإجابة ومن خلال التنافس تتكون عندهم بعض المعلومات المتعلقة بالشأن الفلسطيني، ولست أدعي أن هذا الكتاب يغني عن المطالعة والقراءة والبحث؛ فالقراءة الجادة لا غنى عنها لمن يريد أن يكون له شأن في عالم الثقافة والمعرفة، ولكن أضع هذا السفر الصغير في متناول القارئ علَّه يجد فيه معلومة سريعة عن بلدته أو قريته أو عن إحدى الشخصيات التي قد سمع بها وقد جاءت المعلومات مختصرة ومكثفة ومتسلسلة ألفبائيا لا سيما أننا نعيش في عصر المعلومة السريعة، وكما قد تجد فيه النوادي الثقافية والأدبية والكشفية وطلاب المدارس مبتغاهم عند إجراء المسابقات بين الفريق الواحد أو الفرق المختلفة.
وقد جاء منهج الكتاب بذكر كل ما يتعلق بفلسطين من الألف إلى الياء بشكل مختصر من القرى والمدن والدول والجبال والكتب والصحف والشخصيات السياسية والأدبية والدينية التي لها علاقة بفلسطين إن كانت فلسطينية أو من غيرهم الذين أسهموا في المشهد النضالي والثقافي الفلسطيني؛ وحتى تم ذكر بعض أعلام العدو على مبدأ "اعرف عدوك" علَّ قارئنا يعرف من هم الذين أسهموا في نكبتنا إن كانوا من الصهاينة أو غيرهم.
