Book Description
يتكون الكتاب من عشرة فصول وملحق به قرص مدمج (CD) يحتوي دليلا مختصرا لاستخدام SPSS وتطبيقاته في موضوعات هذا الكتاب.
يعالج الفصل الأول التوزيعات التكرارية وأشكالها وطرق عرض البيانات الإحصائية بالرسومات وبطريقة الساق والورقة. ويتناول الفصل الثاني كلا من مقاييس النزعة المركزية والتشتت والشكل. واثر التحويلات الخطية على هذه المقاييس.
أما موضوع الاحتمالات فقد تمت مناقشته في الفصل الثالث حيث تم التعرض لمفهوم الاحتمال وقوانينه والاحتمال المشروط واستقلال الحوادث ونظرية بيز. وتناول الرابع فتعرض لموضوع المتغيرات العشوائية والتوزيعات الاحتمالية المنفصلة وتوزيعات المعاينة لكل من الوسط والتباين والنسبة والفرق بين وسطين والفرق بين نسبتين والنسبة بين تباينين.
هذا وقد عالج الفصل الخامس موضوع الاستدلال الإحصائي بشقيه التقدير بنقطة وبفترة بالإضافة الى اختبار الفرضيات حول معالم مجتمع واحد ومعالم مجتمعين.
وناقش الفصل السادس موضوع الارتباط والانحدار الخطي البسيط والمتعدد، واختبار الفرضيات حول معامل ارتباط بيرسون وكلا من ميل ومقطع خط الانحدار.
اما اختبارات كاي تربيع للاستقلال والتجانس وحسن المطابقة فقد كانت موضوعات الفصل السابع. وتناول الفصل الثامن تحليل التباين الأحادي والثنائي.
اما الطرق غير المعلمية حول مجتمع وحول مجتمعين فكانت مجال موضوعات الفصل التاسع حيث تم التعرض لاختبار الإشارة واختبار مان –وتني واختبار كروسكال والأس واختبار ويلكوكسن لإشارة الرتب.
وأخيرا جاء الفصل العاشر ليعالج موضوع السلاسل الزمنية وتقدير مركباتها التي تتمثل في الاتجاه العام والتغيرات الموسمية، ومركبة الدورة، والتغيرات العرضية.
اما أسلوب الكتاب فقد اعتمد الدقة العلمية البساطة، والتسلسل المنطقي في عرض المادة بالإضافة الى الأمثلة المحلولة بشكل مفصل بالأسلوب اليدوي وباستخدام برمجة SPSS 10.1 هذا وقد اتبع كل فصل مجموعة من التمارين للقارئ.
اما مادة الكتاب، فهي شاملة بحيث يمكن تغطيتها في فصلين دراسيين جامعيين، في مادة طرق الإحصاء، كما تصلح مرجعا للباحثين.
