وقد انبرى أحد أبناء العربية لكتابة تاريخ شامل للبلاغة العربية وليعمل على تبسيط علوم البلاغة وجعلها في متناول الجميع وقد انطلق في عمله من حيث انتهى ابن المعتز وعبد القاهر الجرجاني ومهد لكتابه بالحديث عن اللغة والأدب والكتابة باعتبارها تصوراً لألفاظ هي جسوم صوتية، تصبح صوراً مرئية عندما تصور بالحروف وتحدث عن الكتابة والفصاحة والبلاغة والأسلوب التي تشكل جميعها محور النص الأدبي. كما تناول علوم البلاغة بالشرح والتحليل علوم البلاغة أو جمالية اللغة، وهي العلوم التي تمدنا بالمقاييس التي تؤدي إلى الحكم على الأعمال الأدبية وهدفه من ذلك إبراز قواعد علوم البلاغة بشكل يحررها من الجمود.
