يعرض هذا الكتاب أنواع المراجعة المصرفية المفروضة على القطاع المصرفي وأشكالها بما في ذلك أهمية الضبط الداخلي وبما يتوافق مع تعاميم مصرف لبنان ولجنة الرقابة على المصارف وتوصيات لجنة بازل، وتوجهات مجلس الإدارة، مع وضع شكل أولي للإجراءات الممكن إتباعها، خاصة في المصارف المتوسطة والصغيرة، والتي لا يمكنها فصل وحدة تدقيق متكاملة، وذلك بهدف تخفيض الكلفة، ويعرض لأوراق العمل الرديفة في الوظيفة الرقابية كمثال تطبيقي في الأصول المتبعة في المراجعة على كافة مستوياتها، كما يربط ذلك بمستوى المخاطر التي يتحملها المصرف والتي حددها مصرف لبنان بموجب قوانين وتعاميم وقرارات.
وبذلك سيتم عرض وظيفة كل من الأجهزة التالية: لجنة الرقابة على المصارف، مفوض المراقبة، دائرة ووحدة التدقيق الداخلي.
هذا البحث، دراسة أكاديمية موجهة للطالب وللمهني، حيث شملت عرضاً لمختلف أنواع المراجعة المصرفية المفروضة على القطاع المصرفي، وأشكالها، بما يتوافق مع تعاميم مصرف لبنان, ولجنة الرقابة على المصارف، وتوصيات لجنة بازل، والتوجهات الممكنة لمجلس الإدارة. وشملت مختلف المخاطر المصرفية بما فيها مخاطر تبييض الأموال، وعرض لمعايير المراجعة الدولية، واقتراح لأوراق العمل اللازمة في الوظيفة الرقابية، والأصول المتبعة في المراجعة على كافة مستوياتها، كما تم ربط ذلك بمستوى المخاطر التي يتحملها المصرف.
كما تم عرض وظيفة كل من أجهزة لجنة الرقابة على المصارف، مفوض المراقبة، ووحدة التدقيق الداخلي، والتقارير التي يمكن أن تصدر عن هذه الأجهزة.
