إجتمع سبعة حكماء، قدموا من جهات العالم الأربع، إثر إحساسهم بقرب وقوع كارثة هائلة على مستوى كوكب الأرض، إجتمعوا لنقل مفاتيح الحكمة الشاملة إلى مراهقَين صغيرين.
لقد ارتكزوا، بغض الطرف عن إختلاف وجهات نظرهم الثقافية والتاريخية المتعلقة بتقاليدهم الخاصة، على إختباراتهم الشخصية، مستوحين من الفلاسفة القدامى ما أَطلق عليه هؤلاء تسمية "روح العالم".
أي القوة الخيّرة المتسامحة، التي تحافظ على إنسجام الكون وتناغمه، أجابت تعاليمهم عن التساؤلات التالية: "ما معنى وجودي؟... كيف لي أن أنجح في حياتي وأكون سعيداً؟ كيف بإمكاني التوفيق بين الجسد والروح؟".
