لقد شرّف الله تعالى اللغة العربية فأنزل بها كلامه المعجز القرآن الكريم، وبه حفظها من الإضمحلال، وأعلى من شأنها بتضمينها أحكام دينه الخالد وتشريعات عباده المؤمنين، فأقبل عليها المسلمون يتنافسون على تحصيلها، ويفتخرون بالإنتساب إليها لأنها تمكّنهم من فكّ رموز كتاب الله تعالى واحاديث نبيّه وإستخراج أسرارهما، وبها يتعرفون على إسلامهم، ويعبدون ربَّهم عن دراية وإخلاص، فهبّ العلماء العاملون ينشرونها في بقاع المعمورة مع إنتشار الإسلام فتلقفها الأعاجم قبل العرب لحاجتهم الماسّة إليها اكثر من العرب الذين كانوا يرضعونها في حليب أمهاتهم قبل فساد الألسنة، وهكذا تحمّس الأعاجم وأقبلوا على تعلّم علوم اللغة العربية وخاصة علمها الأساس الذي هذا النحو، واجتهدوا في تحصيله وتعليمه حتى وصل إلى بلاد الأندلس فانكب أبناؤها على تعلّمه، وتفتنوا في تعليمه، فاستوعبه الموهوبون منهم، وأصبحوا نحاة كباراً يضاهون المشارقة، وبدأوا يؤلفون الكتب النحوية التي تحمل آراءهم وإجتهاداتهم ومعارضاتهم للنحو المشرقي، وفي المقابل نحاة يؤيدون أهل المشرق في آرائهم، ويقلدون كلّ ما يأتي من عندهم، وبهذا التنافس والتنوع في علم النحو ذاع صيت نحاة الأندلس وانتشرت آراؤهم في الأمصار والكتب النحوية، ومنها آراء الشلوبين.
الأمر الذي شدّ إنتباهي وتركني نفكّر في كتاب نجمع فيه أعمار هذا النحو الأندلسي، فأحببت أن نقدم من خلاله علم أصول النحو العربي، ونبرزها من كتبه النحوية، لأنني لم أطلع حسب علمي على مَن تطرق إلى علم اصول النحو عند أبي على الشلوبين، فقررت أن نسمي هذا العمل: أصول النحو العربي عند المدرسة الأندلسية أبو علي الشلوبين عينة، وكأي بحث علمي يريد أن يصل إلى نتائج مفيدة، كان لا بدّ أن ننطلق من تساؤلات، فكان الإشكال الرئيس هو: ما مدى مساهمات الشلوبين في علم أصول النحو العربي، ويتفرع عنه تساؤلات، تمثلت في: مَن هو أبو علي الشلوبين؟ وكيف كانت حياته الشخصية والعلمية؟ وما هي أهمّ كتبه؟ ولماذا انصبت الدراسة على كتابين فقط؟...
وكيف تعامل أبو علي مع أدلة النحو العربي (أصول النحو)؟ وغيرها من التساؤلات المحيطة بالموضوع.
