ولما كانت نظرة الإسلام بهذا المستوى من الأفق الرحب والفضاء الواسع الذي يبحث عن سبل السلام والإبتعاد عن الحرب والقتال فقد نظر إلى الآخر غير المسلم نظرة إنسانية لم يمنعه منه مانع من دين أو عقيدة بل جعل الوازع الإنساني هو الطريق إلى تحقيق السلم والتضامن بين الناس على اختلاف عقائدهم ومذاهبهم وأديانهم بمعنى أن الإسلام كان يدعو إلى بناء دولة مدنية تضم في أحشائها كل القوميات والأديان يحكمها قانون مزاجه الإنسان المتحضّر الذي يرتفع فوق كل تلك المسميات التي لو فُعّلت في أي كيان إجتماعي جعلت منه كياناً لا يستطيع الصمود أمام المتغيرات.
إن اكتشاف هذه المضامين يحتاج إلى تدمّر عميق في النص القرآني فضلاً عن الصبر والتأني في ملاحظة دقائق التركيب ولغة النص وأصل دلالتها وما تطوّر عنها. عند ذلك ستجد الدلالة واضحة ومغايرة لما عليه الآخرون أي أن آليات اللغة مهمة جداً في معرفة خبايا النص وإن كانت لوحدها غير كافية إلا أنها تشكّل ظاهرة مؤثرة في الكشف عن الدلالة ربما تفوق أي ظاهرة أخرى تستعمل ذلك.
