تحت عنوان "مع عروب" يقول الشاعر خيمي: ورنتْ (عروبُ) رنا الهوى وجدودُهُ... فمضى ليفصحَ عن هواهُ قصيدُةً"... "ورنا الزمان وطيبُهُ مِنْ وصلها... وتجملت في ذا الغرام برودةً"... "وبدا بثغر بسمةً مِنَ وصلها... وبدا بوجهٍ في القصيد سعودهُ"... "قد بادلته هوىً وأشرق حلمُهُ... بالوصل منها والرجاء مزيدُهُ"...
بهذه اللغة اللحظة، العذبة، يرتبط صوت الشاعر بالنوستالجيا داخله، فيحيلنا إلى فلسفة مثالية، عن الحب وشجونه، تغني المعنى، وترفد المخيلة بأدوات يصبح الوجود فيها كينونة متوقدة بالحب، والعاطفة، والإنسجام.
