هذا الكتاب شرح للمصطلحات الكلامية في أصول الدين مع ذكر الأدلة والقضايا الأساسية في هذا العلم سماه مؤلفه "النكت في مقدمات الأصول – في علم الكلام-". جاء الكتاب بشكل مبسط يهدف إلى "إرشاد المبتدئين" كما أراد له مؤلفه وهو عبارة عن محاولات كلامية بين السائل والمجيب، فيطرح سؤالاً بعنوان: "إن قال" ويجيب عليه بعنوان "فقل" معتبراً أن في ذلك فائدة تربوية للناشئين لتدريبهم على طرق الحوار وقد بدأها بتعريف "النظر والدليل، والعقل والعلم..." وصولاً حتى "المعاد".
جاء الكتاب في إحدى وتسعين مقطعاً تضمنت محاورات بين المسائل والمجيب على الشكل التالي: جاء في (باب الكلام وإثبات محدثه الإبانة عن صفاته) "فإن قال: ما الدليل على حدث العالم؟ فقل: تغير أجزائه، واحتمالها الزيادة والنقصان". وهكذا في بقية الأبواب. ومن عناوينها نذكر: "باب الإبانة عن معاني الألفاظ في مقدمات النظر وماهية الأعراض"، "باب الكلام في نفي التشبيه"، "باب الكلام في التوحيد"، "باب الكلام في الرسالة"، "باب الكلام في الإمامة"، "باب الكلام في الوعد والوعيد"... الخ.
الجدير بالذكر أن هذه السلسلة تصدرها مؤسسة آل البيت لإحياء التراث. وهي عبارة عن مخطوطات محققة ورسائل مهمة توزعت مواضيعها على شتى أصناف المعرفة من علوم: الفقه، والأصول، والحديث، والرجال، والتفسير واللغة والأدب، والأنساب، والتاريخ، والبلاغة وغيرها بهدف تعميق الوعي الثقافي وبيان أهمية التراث ودروه في حفظ أصالة الأمة، وتثبيت مقوماتها الحضارية.
