ففؤاد رجل الأعمال البارز قرر بعد أن تمكن منه المرض أن يقوم بإطلاع أقرب أصدقائه، رجل الأمن المتقاعد، كامل، على العديد من الأسرار التي بقيت طي الكتمان لسنين طويلة، فعاد بذاكرته إلى أيام الطفولة، كون حياته قد شهدت على العديد من الأحداث المهمة منذ نعومة أظفاره، حتى سنين شبابه الأولى وإلى أن وصل إلى ما هو عليه.
وكانت الأحداث قد وصلت إلى ذروتها أثناء توطد أواصر العلاقة بين الصديقين، إلا أن فؤاد ابقي كامل بعيداً عن التفاصيل المؤثرة التي اشتملت على العديد من الجرائم والأحداث الدراماتيكية، إلى أن بانت الحقائق وانكشفت الوقائع، ليكون السؤال عن كيفية إستجابة كامل لأخر وصايا فؤاد.
ويبقى الغموض يلون حقائق المستقبل بريشة الحاضر، فتزدان لوحة الحياة بألوان زاهية أحياناً، وقاتمة أحياناً أخرى، لتغطي اللون الرمادي الطاغي على جدران حدود معرفتنا.
